AI Base Camp: AI Use Cases in Action from the Routine to Revolutionary
Join us for an event cohosted by Meridian and POPVOX Foundation, in collaboration with the AI Staff Association.
AI is moving faster than most people can keep up with, whether you're learning how to use it at work or trying to write policy around it. For Congressional staff, that gap is real. AI Base Camp is designed to help close it.
This 90-minute, open-house style event is a self-led adventure. You get to choose where to spend your time, whether that is learning how to build better prompts or getting a glimpse of cutting edge AI functions like vibe coding and autonomous agents.
Stations are arranged around the room, each one focused on a different level of AI use. Every station is hands-on, staffed by people doing this work every day, and designed for Congressional staff at every level of familiarity.
We'll also make sure you know the rules. Both chambers have issued guidance on AI use for staff. We'll be transparent about what use cases are inspirational for how AI could be used at your desk and which stations are educational about AI generally.
Everyone is welcome. Light trail snacks will be provided.
This in-person event will take place on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM in Washington, DC, and is a collaboration between Meridian's Tech Labs and POPVOX Foundation.
