Inter-Branch Exchange Working Session on SNAP

About the Event

Participants from the legislative branch, digital service delivery, and data and evidence-based policy are invited to join this working session to identify existing challenges, leverage evidence-based policymaking, and identify actionable solutions for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program).

By convening these three groups, this event aims to create a symbiotic ecosystem where challenges are not just identified but are also acted upon, where data doesn't remain in silos but informs legislative processes, and where the barriers of yesterday give way to the innovative solutions of today.

Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be provided at 4:00 PM. This event is held in collaboration with Georgetown University’s Beeck Center.

About the Inter-Branch Exchange

The Inter-Branch Exchange aims to provide a platform where frontline policy implementers can voice on-ground challenges which are then translated into actionable solutions that policymakers can understand and act on. This effort promises enhanced policy efficiency, stronger interbranch relations, and more informed decision-making in governance. The program is a partnership between POPVOX Foundation and Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy’s Massive Data Institute, with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
