POPVOX Foundation Relaunches CapitolStrong

CapitolStrong is a collaboration of civil society organizations working to strengthen and invest in the institution of Congress and the people who serve there. In moments of crisis — whether from violence, natural disasters, government shutdowns, or other challenges — Congressional staff continue to show up and serve. POPVOX Foundation and our partner organizations are here to support them through it all.

Created to provide resources and community for Congressional staff after January 6, CapitolStrong remains committed to supporting the Legislative branch through current and future challenges. As we head into the second month of the government shutdown, we know the continued uncertainty is presenting challenges for millions of people. Often overlooked in that group are the thousands of Congressional staff who work for Members of Congress and the American people that they serve.

As former Congressional staffers ourselves, we want Congressional staff to know that their work matters.

This project is dedicated to supporting Congressional staff. We know how essential they are to the daily operations of Congress, and we want to highlight the amazing work that is being done every day.

The CapitolStrong website now includes a resource guide with practical information and tools. These links and resources will continue to be updated as the shutdown continues and information is added.
