POPVOX Foundation Welcomes Ashley Nagel

Ashley Nagel joins POPVOX Foundation as Senior Manager for Government Innovation. In this role, Ashley leads POPVOX Foundation's Congressional engagement strategy: building relationships across the Hill, deepening Congress' understanding of emerging technologies, and advancing institutional modernization. Her technical background and firsthand Hill experience make her an effective bridge between the policy and technology worlds, whether she's developing training resources or demoing emerging technologies for Congressional staff.

Before joining POPVOX Foundation, Ashley served as a Senate legislative fellow focused on AI policy and government modernization, where she developed a deep interest in helping Congress fulfill its Article I duties through better technology. Prior to her time on the Hill, she was a senior software automation engineer at Apple Inc. and before that, developed software for Honeywell Aerospace.

Ashley earned her B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, with minors in applied mathematics and dance. She grew up in Indiana and now lives in Washington, DC, where she can still be found dancing.
